Women from Raigarh, Ambikapur and Jashpur involved in sex racket arrested

Raigarh: Police have arrested five women involved in prostitution. Kharsia police station has taken this action on the complaint of villagers. The women caught are from Kharsia, Raigarh, Ambikapur, and Jashpur.

Actually, Kharsia police received information that some women and youth had gathered in village Telekot. His activities are suspicious. When the police reached the spot after receiving information from the informer, the women were caught under suspicious circumstances. From the spot, a person Shyam Kumar Verma, 56 years old, resident of Purani Basti Kharsia, was found in a suspicious condition. Action was taken against the arrested people under restrictive sections and they were presented before the SDM court.

TI Rakesh Mishra, TI Saurabh Dwivedi, Sub Inspector Manish Kant Singh, ASI Prithviraj Mohanty, Lakshmi Rathore, Lady Head Constable Sarojini Rathore and Lady Constable Ranjita Chauhan were involved in the raid under the guidance of SDOP Kharsia Prabhat Patel.
