Worker’s death: OHE wire fell on the railway track, screams broke out
Koderma (Jharkhand): A laborer working on the railway line died after a railway OHE wire fell near Parsabad railway gate in Jaynagar police station area of Koderma. There are reports of many workers being injured in this incident. The condition of two laborers is said to be serious. The injured are being treated in a nearby hospital. The passengers of the train had a narrow escape due to the passing of Purshottam Express. The deceased was doing foundation work below near the railway station, after which he died after coming in contact with the wire.
According to the information received, a laborer named Sanjay Manjhi was returning from work in the general bogie from Andhra Pradesh. He was sitting on top of the seat. A rod from outside tore the bogie and entered the stomach of the said young man, seriously injuring him.
It is known that the overhead wire broke and fell on Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express 12801 at 12:01 am, due to which one laborer died and many were injured. According to the information about the incident, the train was going from Puri towards New Delhi at a speed of 135 kilometers per hour, during this time, due to a shock near Parsabad station of Koderma-Dhanbad railway section, the overhead wire broke and fell on the train. Due to which current ran in the entire train.
