World: Renault and Nissan made changes to their partnership agreement

World World: Renault and Nissan on Monday announced changes to their 20-year-old partnership agreement. Under the changes, the two companies have agreed to reduce their cross-shareholdings from 15% to 10%. The move is aimed at supporting Nissan’s reconstruction. Renault CEO said the company’s main objective is to improve Nissan’s performance as soon as possible. In addition, Renault plans to buy a majority stake in Nissan’s Indian joint venture “Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited”, which is expected to be completed in the first half of this year.
