WPL 2024 auction, Australian batsman Phoebe Litchfield bought by Gujarat Giants
Mumbai: Gujarat Giants bid Rs 1 crore for Australian batsman Phoebe Litchfield in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction in Mumbai on Saturday.
Australia’s Phoebe Litchfield was the first player to bid at the base price of Rs 30 lakh, receiving the first bid from Gujarat Giants. After a brief tussle between UP Warriors and Gujarat, the auction price crossed Rs 60 lakh in no time. Gujarat Giants finally bought him for Rs 1 crore.
