Yellow alert issued for snowfall, rain and hailstorm in higher areas till April 1 in Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand: The weather has suddenly changed since last evening across the state. The process of rain continues since Thursday evening. Due to the rain, there was waterlogging on the roads at many places, while the temperature also dropped. On the other hand, there was hailstorm along with rain in Mussoorie.

On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, with the changing weather patterns, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain with thunder and clouds in Doon. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for snowfall, rain and hailstorm in the higher reaches of the state till April 1, along with strong winds in the plains. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most places of all the districts of the state till April 4 as well as snowfall in the high altitude areas.
