Yogi government’s decision to cancel police recruitment exam 2023, exam will be held again in 6 months
Lucknow : UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has canceled the Police Constable Recruitment Examination-2023 held on February 17 and 18 and has given instructions to conduct the examination again with complete cleanliness within the next six months. Chief Minister Yogi took this decision on Saturday while reviewing the ongoing STF investigation and action taken so far in relation to the said examination. Chief Minister Yogi said that playing with the hard work of the youth and compromising with the integrity of the examination cannot be accepted. Strictest action is certain to be taken against such unruly elements.
On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Home Department has also issued an order to cancel the examination. According to the order issued, on the basis of examination of the facts and information received regarding the police recruitment examination held on February 17 and 18, 2024, after due consideration, the government took the decision to cancel this examination in view of the highest standards of cleanliness and transparency. Is.
The government has instructed the Recruitment Board to ensure advance legal action by registering an FIR against any negligence at any level. The government has decided to get the case investigated by STF, instructions have also been given to take strictest action against the persons or institutions found guilty.
The government has given instructions to conduct re-examination with complete accuracy within six months and to provide free facilities to the candidates through the services of Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation. The Chief Minister has also decided to investigate the complaints related to the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Examination-2023 conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on February 11. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary Appointment and Personnel has also issued an order.
According to this, regarding the Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Examination 2023 held on 11th February, the decision of the Government of Sanyukti is cancelled, Police Recruitment Examination 2023 is cancelled, the examination will be held again in 6 months.
In view of the facts and complaints brought to the notice, for the purpose of cleanliness and transparency of the examination, it has been decided that the complaints received regarding the examination should be examined at the government level.
