In the same sequence, the Tamnar police and cyber cell, engaged in checking the people coming and going in the interstate check post Hamirpur along with station in-charge Tamnar Inspector Ashirwad Rahatgaonkar, got information from the informer that a young man was selling liquor illegally on the banks of the drain in village Bhagora. . Immediately, on the instructions of senior officers, the team of Tamnar Police and Cyber Cell cordoned off the place mentioned by the informer and conducted a raid. The police team caught a young man selling Mahua liquor illegally on the banks of village Bhagora drain. During interrogation, 45 liters of Mahua worth ₹ 9000 was seized from the possession of accused Kanta Khandait, father Tiharu Khandait, age 25 years, S/o Bhagaro police station, Tamnar. Sale amount of ₹ 100 was recovered from him, which has also been confiscated. Tamnar police have taken action against the accused under 34(2), 59(a) Excise Act and have sent the accused on judicial remand.
