Young man shot friend’s hip, case of Raipur
Raipur. The young man shot his friend in the hip. The matter is of Raipur city. According to the police, Pushpa Gupta lodged a report in the police station Urla that she lives in New Rajendra Nagar Urla Raipur. On 18.01.24 at around 10:30 pm, his brother Ravi Gupta, father Sanjay Gupta, age 19 years, resident of New Rajendra Nagar Urla called and informed that he was injured and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
On which the applicant went to the hospital and inquired about his brother’s injury, then the applicant’s brother Ravi Gupta told that he was going to work in his Activa vehicle at around 08:30 in the night and on the way he met his friend Mohit Sah who was traveling with him in the Activa. I sat behind, both of them work in a private factory located in Urla.
Mohit Sah told Ravi Gupta that he had brought live rounds from Siwan Bihar which he wanted to test. Meanwhile, at 09:30 pm, after reaching near Brij Tech and Tower Company Sarora Road, Mohit Sah fired a round and gave the pistol to Ravi Gupta for testing. Since the round did not fire after Ravi Gupta fired, Ravi Gupta gave the pistol to Mohit Sah. . When Mohit Sah fired from the pistol, the round fired and hit the right hip of Ravi Gupta, who was admitted to the hospital for treatment by Mohit Sah.
On the report of the applicant regarding injury to Ravi Gupta when Mohit Sah fired rounds from a pistol, Section 308 of Indian Penal Code has been registered against accused Mohit Sah in Urla police station. After registering the offense of 25,27 Arms Act, the accused Mohit Sah was arrested and action was taken against the accused by seizing 01 no.
of country-made pistol, 06 nos. of live rounds and 01 nos of empty shells from his possession. During interrogation, accused Mohit Sahu is said to have purchased the pistol and rounds from Siwan, Bihar. Accused Mohit Sahu has been detained in jail in the year 2022 in a robbery case from Urla police station.
