Balod: A young man stole money from the bag of an elderly woman who had gone to the grocery store to buy groceries after withdrawing money from the State Bank. The young man very neatly removed Rs 10,000 from the woman’s bag along with the pass book. This scene has been captured in the CCTV footage of the grocery shop.
This incident took place at Pintu Nahar grocery shop of Daundi police station area. It is being told that the woman is a resident of Chhindgaon. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and are busy scanning the CCTV footage of the bank and grocery shop. This incident happened 200 meters away from the police station. The police are claiming to arrest the accused in the case soon.
