Young man was called a rat, he was beaten when he refused
Raipur. Separate cases of teasing by calling someone ‘Ray, Bay’ and someone calling him a rat and disputes between transporters, fighting and threats to kill were registered. According to the information received, Vaibhav Verma (23), resident of Sector 3, was standing near the Durga Pandal of Sector 1 at 11.30 pm last night. Young men named Tariq Khan, Himanshu, Kshitij, Paras Sangtani started saying Ray-Bay. When Vaibhav refused, all four started fighting.
Some of them abused him, some punched his hand and some attacked him with an iron bangle worn on his hand and threatened to kill him. This tussle between them continued for about an hour. Vaibhav ran away from there and reached Devendra Nagar police station and lodged a report under section 294, 506, 323,34. The accused youth is out of reach. Paras Sangtani (21), resident of Padav Para Gudhiyari, has also filed a report against Vaibhav. According to Paras, Vaibhav was teasing him by calling him a rat. When he refused, he beat him.
Last evening, Vinder Singh was backing his car near YC Road Siltara Bhanpuri in Transport Nagar Rawanbhatha. Then when he stumbled, the owner of RCI Company and his associates started abusing him and threatened to kill him by beating him with their hands and fists. Khamtrai police have registered a case on Vinder’s complaint.

Last afternoon, Mohd. Shah, Rizwan and his associates came to Rajat and said that you people are spoiling our work, they abused him and beat him with fists and threatened to kill him. Urla police have registered a case on Rajat’s report.
