Young man who set out to serve drugs under the guise of journalism arrested, huge quantity of cough syrup seized
Jashpur: On the information of informer, Kansabel police of Jashpur, Chhattisgarh has taken major action against drug dealers in Pongro village. They were smuggling ganja and cough syrup in a press written vehicle. Police has arrested two accused.
Police said that Chhota Hathi used to bring cough syrup from the Creta car and dump it in the vehicle. The police had received information, after which they were successful in seizing a large quantity of cough syrup and arresting the accused Ahmed Khan and Nishant Golu Yadav. And one accused is still absconding.
In fact, Chhattisgarh’s border district Jashpur comes in the drug supply chain, to break which DIG D. Ravi Shankar, ASP Umesh Kashyap have given instructions to all the police stations and outposts to take continuous action.
Police said that the price of cup syrup was estimated to be around Rs 25 thousand, the price of ganja was estimated to be around Rs 10 thousand, the price of the small elephant vehicle was estimated to be around Rs 75 thousand and the price of Creta car was estimated to be Rs 13 lakh 31 thousand. Total mashruka of Rs 14 lakh 3100 has been seized. In this action, it has been revealed that the supplier is Nishant Golu Yadav, a resident of Kunkuri, who does drug business by writing press in his white colored Creta car. It is alleged that the police had been keeping an eye on those who committed crimes under the guise of journalism for several days.
