Younger brother arrested for murder of elder brother, there was dispute over liquor
Saharanpur: In Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a younger brother has been arrested for beating his elder brother to death over a minor dispute. The accused was identified as Anil. The incident took place in Nalhera village of Bargaon police station area of Saharanpur late on Friday night.
An official said that the 40-year-old elder brother died of injuries sustained during a clash over a minor dispute between the two brothers in Nalhera village under Bargaon police station late on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Ravindra, resident of Nalhera village.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Deoband) Ashok Kumar Sisodia said that late on Friday night there was a dispute and scuffle between Ravindra and his younger brother. “Ravindra was injured and was later taken to Deoband hospital, where he died,” the DCP said. Ravindra suffered deep injuries on his head.”
Investigation revealed that Ravindra had a dispute with his younger brother Anil over a trivial matter regarding alcohol. DCP said, “Anil immediately took out the stick and threatened his elder brother Ravindra. A scuffle started. During this time, Anil attacked him several times with a stick. The accused Anil has been arrested. “A case has been registered against the accused under Indian Penal Code section 302 (murder).”
