Youth arrested for selling intoxicating tablets
Mahasamund: An accused has been arrested with intoxicating tablets in Singhoda police station area. In fact, keeping in view the upcoming assembly elections, Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Singh (IPS) and Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Rao had directed all police station in-charges to take illegal action on drug and illegal liquor smuggling and suspicious activities.
On which, under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Officer Police Abhishek Kesari, station in-charge Umesh Kumar Verma, police station Singhoda, along with his joint team, accused Abhishek Devta father Anant Devta age 24 years Sakin Murmuri police station Singhoda district Mahasamund in three packets in a yellow colored bag. Noitrosan R 10 Tablet 15 Patta Total 300 Nos. Intoxicant tablets have been seized and action has been taken under the Narcotics Act, the accused has been arrested and sent on judicial remand.
Under the direction of sub-inspector Umesh Kumar Verma, assistant sub-inspector Sanatan Behra, head constable number 342, Prashant Sagar, constables 799 Virendra Bagh, 517 Rohit Sidar, 830 Yashwant Thakur had a special contribution in the entire proceedings.
