Youth arrested for stealing in jewelery shop of Maudhapara

Raipur: The youth who committed theft in the jewelery shop of Maudhapara has been arrested. According to the police, Bhavesh Jain had lodged a report in the police station Maudhapara that he lives in Station Road Police Station Mohan Nagar District Durg in front of the Gurudwara and operates a shop in the name of Padmavati Jewelery (Imutation Jewellery) in Jairam Complex Shop No. 40 located in Raipur. . On 09.11.2023, at around 09.15 pm, the applicant had closed his jewelery shop and gone home. On 10.11.2023, at 11.00 am, when he opened the lock of his jewelery shop and entered inside, he saw that the entire goods of the shop were scattered, On checking the goods, it was found that the lock of the bag was broken and the cash kept in the bag and the imitation jewelery necklace set kept in the shop were about 150 pieces, earrings about 40 pieces, bangles about 100 pieces and a mobile phone was missing. An unknown thief broke the window AC of the applicant’s shop. He entered the shop after cutting the grill and stole the said Mashrooka and ran away, that on the report of the applicant, crime number 256/23 Section 457, 380 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in police station Maudhapara. The crime of was registered.

On which, under the direction of senior officers, the joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Maudhapara police station, along with detailed interrogation of the applicant in relation to the incident, also conducted detailed interrogation of the nearby people including the employees working in his shop and reached the spot of the incident. After careful inspection, the search for the unknown accused was started. The team members inspected the CCTVs installed in and around the incident site. Along with observing the camera footage, efforts were being made to trace and identify the unknown accused by employing informers. Meanwhile, the team members received important information regarding the accused involved in the incident, Radheshyam Nag, resident of Bhathagaon Tikrapara, on which the team members traced Radheshyam Nag and caught him. On questioning based on the evidence obtained by the team members, the accused Radheshyam Nag, along with his partner Akram Ansari, resident of Ambikapur, was said to have carried out the above incident by committing theft. On which accused Radheshyam Nag was arrested and action was taken against the accused by seizing stolen artificial jewelery worth Rs 30,000/- from his possession. Akram Ansari, the accused in the case, is absconding and every possible effort is being made to trace and arrest him.
