Youth arrested in Urala with pistol and live cartridges

Raipur: Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Aggarwal along with the police station in-charge and the team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit collected information regarding the people carrying pistols and pistols illegally and those who buy and sell them illegally and verified it effectively. Instructions have been given to curb and take action. On which all the police gazetted officers and station in-charges have prepared an action plan and to effectively curb this, information is being collected in this regard by appointing informers in their respective police station areas, as well as by patrolling and collecting information.

In the same sequence, the team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a person is carrying a pistol near Rajendra Nagar Road under Urla police station area and is terrorizing the people passing by. On receiving the information, Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Pitambar Patel and City Superintendent of Police Urla Avinash Mishra, after verifying the information, in-charge Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and police station in-charge Urla were directed to catch the accused red handed with a pistol. On which the joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and Urla police station went to the said place and identified and arrested a person of the description described by the informer. During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Rupesh Kumar Yadav, resident of Urla Raipur. When the team members searched Rupesh Kumar Yadav, he was found to be carrying a pistol and live cartridges. On which accused Rupesh Kumar Yadav was arrested and 01 no. of pistol and 05 nos of live cartridges were seized from his possession and action was taken by registering crime number 417/23 section 25, 27 of Arms Act against the accused in police station Urla. . The accused is said to have brought the spent and live cartridges from Chhapra, Bihar.

Arrested accused – Rupesh Kumar Yadav, father Satinder Rai, age 23 years, resident of village Khoripara, police station Darkha, district Chapra, Bihar, house of Trimurti Chowk, Thakur Hall, police station Urla, district Raipur.
