Youth beaten to death, police engaged in investigation
Rohtak. A young man was beaten to death due to an old rivalry in Ningana village of Rohtak. The accused attacked him with sticks in front of his brother. The injured youth died during treatment. the police has started to investigate. Amrit Kumar, resident of village Ningana, told in his complaint to the police that he has two brothers and two sisters. He is younger and Amit is older. He is having a dispute with the family of Rishipal of the same village. Due to this rivalry, on December 30, he was standing in the street with his brother Amit. During this time Rishipal started abusing. Suddenly his son Rohit and wife Renu came from home with iron rods and sticks.
All three attacked Amit. When he came to intervene, they attacked him too. He alleged that the accused even threatened to kill him while beating him. Hearing the noise, his wife and daughter came to his rescue and when they saw him, the accused threatened him and went away. Amit, injured in this fight, was brought to Kalanaur Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors referred him to Rohtak PGI. Amit died during treatment on Monday. Kalanaur police station in-charge Deshraj said that earlier a case of murderous attack was registered on the statement of Amrit. Now the section of murder has been added. After investigation, action will be taken against the accused.
