Youth should be part of democratic processes: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called on the youth to be a part of the democratic process. He said that exercising the right to vote is not just a right of the people of the country, but also our responsibility in shaping the future of the country. He said that voting is a great right given to us by the Constitution.

The Prime Minister said that the path to the future of the country is shaped by votes. He said that voters are the lucky ones who play a key role in the country’s development journey. He said that the votes cast by the people have the power to change the destiny of our country. Modi made these remarks in a letter written to My-Bharat volunteers on the occasion of National Voters’ Day.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the Election Commission of India to strengthen democratic processes. He said that the EC is conducting elections in the country with commitment. Modi said that when elections are held in any state, many people who have settled in other places go to their villages to exercise their right to vote.

They said that even if they are in the Himalayas, the Andaman Islands, or in dense forests, they will reach their hometowns on time for the elections. They said that these actions will show their commitment to democratic values. They urged the coming generations to also have the same commitment. Similarly, the Prime Minister said that the participation of women is very crucial in the development of India.
