Zareen Khan was scared to work with Salman Khan, Veer actress expressed her pain
Actress Zareen Khan made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s 2010 film ‘Veer’. The work of the actress was well received among the audience. A year later, Zareen gave a popular item number ‘Character Dheela’ with Salman in Anees Bazmee’s comedy film Ready, which everyone became crazy about. After that the actress has been a part of films like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s ‘Housefull 2’, erotic thriller ‘Hate Story 3’, ‘Aksar 2’ and many more. Zareen has now spoken openly about working with Salman Khan and being compared to Katrina Kaif in her career.
Let us tell you that Zareen Khan recently organized an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit where she talked about her life and career. He wrote, “Hi, I am Zareen Khan. I have acted in films like Veer, Ready and Housefull 2. You can ask me anything about films, characters, acting, life, my journey and other topics.” Netizens immediately flooded his post with questions.
When asked about the experience of working with Salman Khan, Zareen replied that it was ‘intimidating’. She also told that playing the role of Princess Yashodhara in her debut film Veer was the most challenging role of her career. Zareen had to face comparisons with actress Katrina Kaif at the beginning of her career. When asked how this comparison affected her, she said, “Hi, when I entered this industry, I was really like a lost child because I did not come from a filmy background, so I was very close to Katrina. I’m really glad to see the comparison. Since I was also her fan and I found her really beautiful. But it backfired on my career as people in this industry did not give me a chance to prove my personality.”
Talking about her struggle in the industry, Zareen said, it was very difficult as she was an outsider. He told that one thing he dislikes most about Bollywood is that “people work on the basis of friendship rather than talent”. When suggested that her contacts would make her career easier, Zareen clarified, “No… you’re wrong… I really don’t have many connections in the industry and I don’t either. ” Actually I don’t know how to do small things.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Zareen was last seen in ‘Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele’ in 2021. He also ventured into Telugu films with Chanakya. He is quite popular on YouTube for his fitness and lifestyle videos.
