1.44 lakh people will get houses in UP next month, CM Yogi’s initiative got approval for PM housing
The poor living in Uttar Pradesh will now have their own house. Next month, the government will give houses to about 1.5 lakh such people. In fact, one lakh 44 thousand 220 poor people of UP will get houses in the next month i.e. August. Please tell that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had written a letter to the Central Government in this regard. The Central Government stamped this letter of CM Yogi and gave approval to the Prime Minister’s residences to the poor villagers of UP. After this approval of the Center, the UP government will complete the process of providing houses to the villagers of the state by August 13.
With this, UP will become the first state in the country to achieve 100% target of sanctioning maximum number of houses. Please tell that after this UP will become a state providing 21,68,574 houses to the poor.
CM Yogi wrote a letter to the Ministry of Rural Development in May
Let us tell you that on May 18, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote a letter to the Ministry of Rural Development to allot additional housing in UP. In which it was said to provide additional housing for the poor of the state. On Friday, through a letter to Additional Chief Secretary Rural Development, the ministry informed about the acceptance of additional accommodation. The Ministry of Rural Development has told the Rural Development Department of UP that the scheme has been extended till March 2024 to achieve the target of 2.95 crore houses.
Significantly, these additional houses have been allotted to UP under ‘Housing for All’. Under this, these houses will have to be constructed and allotted in the current financial year i.e. 2023-24 only. Along with this, the ministry has asked to allot the approved houses to the eligible people within a month.
