1.914 kg hashish recovered from car during blockade
Bilaspur. Bilaspur Sadar Police Station team has succeeded in seizing a consignment of hashish from a car at the four-lane junction Mandi-Bharadi. According to the information, the police team had set up a block for traffic checking in Mandi-Bharari. At the same time a car arrived there, which was being driven by a person resident of Jodla village of Mandi district.
When the police team asked him for the documents of the vehicle etc., the person became a bit nervous, on which the police team became suspicious. When the police searched the car on suspicion, 1 kg 914 grams of hashish was recovered from it. DSP Headquarters Madan Dhiman has confirmed the matter.
He said that the police have seized the consignment of charas and arrested the accused and have registered a case against him and started further action.
