1 dead, 1 critically injured in road accident in Nuapada

Nuapada: In a recent case of road accident, one person died on spot while another was left gravely injured. The accident took place on Biju Expressway near Michhapali village under the limits of Komna Police Station.

The accident occurred after a bike collided with an unidentified vehicle, injuring the two people. The deceased has been identified as Pintu Majhi of Thongo village.

The critically injured person has been identified as Sagar Majhi of Michhapali village. He was immediately transferred to Nuapada district head hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.

The Komna police have initiated an investigation into the matter. Further details awaited.
