10 percent TB patients are being found in Raipur AIIMS

Raipur. In view of the increasing number of TB patients, the doctors of AIIMS Raipur have suggested to get it checked on time and start the treatment. At present, 10 percent TB patients are being found in the TB tests conducted in the Pulmonary Department of AIIMS. Executive Director Lieutenant General Ashok Jindal (Retd) said that efforts are being made to control the number of TB patients worldwide. All facilities for quality treatment are available free of cost in AIIMS.

In the symposium organized under the aegis of TB Week under the aegis of Pulmonary Department of AIIMS and NTEP Cell, experts gave detailed information about the drug resistance of TB and informed the doctors about the new guidelines for its treatment.
