10 years jail for raping minor girl
Kakinada: Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) court judge L Venkateswara Rao on Thursday sentenced Gola Amar Raj Kumar alias Konetti Kumar (30) of Rajampet in Annamayya district to 10 years in jail. According to Two Town Police, Koneti Kumar committed the fraud. A 16 year old girl was raped for five years in the name of love.
According to the girl’s complaint, Kakinada Two Town Police has registered a case. Later, the accused got bail and did not appear in court for the hearing. Circle Inspector K. Two town police led by Nageshwar Naik went to Rajampet and brought the accused to the court a month ago. If the charges were proved, the judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Police said the accused was also involved in several theft cases.
