100 people died due to flood in Somalia

Somalia. Flooding caused by heavy rains in Somalia killed about 100 people and left about 750,000 homeless. This information was released by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Friday.

The agency said devastating rainfall and flooding occurred across Somalia, causing widespread disasters. Most of the people affected by heavy rains, floods and rising rivers live in the South-West, Galmudug, Puntland, Hirshabelle and Jubaland provinces and the port area.
