12th class student committed suicide, father cried after seeing the dead body

Korba. A 12th class student committed suicide by consuming poison on Friday afternoon in Korba, Chhattisgarh. It is being told that he was troubled by the fear of failing in the exam. Called my father and said, “Papa, I have consumed poison” and disconnected the phone. The whole matter is of Fateganj village in Kartala area. According to the information received, death occurred during treatment at Korba Medical College. Omprakash Rathiya was the elder son of Kamal Rathiya. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for postmortem.

Kamal Rathiya, father of the deceased Omprakash, told that he had given his son an ATM and sent him to withdraw money, he had gone alone on a bike. Meanwhile, he called and told that father, I have consumed poison, just saying this he disconnected the call. After this the student’s father was shocked. Frightened, they immediately reached the address given by him and got him admitted to the sub-health center located at Kartala. After treatment in an unconscious state, he was referred to the District Medical College, where he died during treatment.

Father Kamal Rathiya told that Omprakash was smart in reading and writing since childhood. Even in 10th, he had taken Bio subject with good marks. He was worried after the paper. Often he used to say that the paper of 2nd subject has not been prepared properly. Had also explained it to him. Study for one more year and get good marks. In the case, District Hospital outpost in-charge Daud Kujur said that the statement of the family members has been recorded on the basis of the memo received from the medical college. The body has been handed over to the relatives after postmortem. The police is investigating the matter
