14 feet long python found in clothes shop in Meerut

Meerut: A huge python, about 14 feet long, was found trapped inside a clothing shop in Lalkurti Peeth area in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, creating panic in the area.

Store owner Ravi Kumar immediately evacuated the store along with his employees and customers and informed the Meerut forest department.

According to Ravi Kumar, one of his customers had seen a snake in a shelf of his store. One of our employees was taking care of the customers. The customer saw the snake and informed him. He said, due to this everyone got scared and left the shop. We were standing outside the store and waiting for the forest department team to rescue the reptile.

He said the team arrived after an hour and successfully rescued the snake. A video of the incident has gone viral on social networks. The video shows a python slithering down a clothes hanger in the store. The forest department of Meerut rescued the python and returned it safely to its natural habitat.
