The Thaveka leader Vijay’s executive meeting is scheduled to be held in Agaramassery, Vellore district, on Monday. The party has stated that 4,900 people will attend the meeting, and all have been issued identity cards with QR codes. Elaborate arrangements have been made by leveling 33 acres of land in the area where the meeting will be held.
Especially since the news broke that the meeting would be held from 12 noon to 4 pm, at the request of the police department, the meeting venue has been constructed with a total area of 84,000 square feet, 140 feet wide and 600 feet long, with a 36-foot-high roof and gallery, with seating capacity for 4,900 people. It has been reported that 6,000-liter drinking water tanks have been installed at 10 locations in the meeting area, and 50,000 water bottles will be placed in the gallery.
As a result, police, led by District Superintendent of Police N.U. Sivaraman, inspected the meeting venue in Agaramsery on Sunday. They checked whether arrangements had been made to meet the 20 conditions set by the police department and advised the Thavakavis to make additional arrangements.
Meanwhile, a large number of youth and members of the public arrived at the venue where the Vijay Administrators’ meeting was to be held on Sunday morning. Consequently, police were engaged in security work in the area since Sunday morning.
