Raipur. On August 15, 2023, Independence Day celebrations will be held at the Police Ground, Raipur, there will be an attractive program of parade and school students in the parade ground, there will be a huge crowd of ordinary citizens apart from invited distinguished citizens, students of the city to participate in the program. There is a possibility, the route and parking arrangements for the vehicles of the visitors coming to attend and watch the Independence Day celebrations have been made as follows.
01.Vehicles with red car pass:- Vehicles with red car pass will be able to park the vehicle near PWD Chowk – Chhattisgarh College – Kundan Palace – PWD Colony, near Handball Ground or Sports Complex, in front of Wireless Office from MT Workshop Gate.
- Green Car Pass Vehicles:- Parking for Green Car Pass vehicles has been earmarked at St. Paul’s School Ground, 01. Chhattisgarh College Chowk coming from PWD Chowk – Kundan Palace – turning right from RI office gate and entering from St. Paul’s school gate will be able to park at St. Paul’s school ground. 02. Vehicle drivers coming from Mahila Thana will park their vehicle at St. Paul’s school ground and enter through RI office gate and enter the venue on foot.
- Route and parking of vehicles and school buses of police personnel participating in the parade :- Buses transporting police personnel and students participating in the parade enter from the police line back gate and park in the field next to the skating ground. Will park, there will be no parking of buses on the road.
04.Media-OB van route and parking:- Media and OB van will enter through police line back gate and will be parked in the ground next to the helipad.
- Traffic Diversion:- 01. All types of vehicles from Pension Bada Chowk towards Police Line, 02. Vehicles without pass and school bus from PWD Chowk and Mahila Thana Chowk towards Police Line, going towards Police Line from the above routes. Will be able to use other alternative routes.
The following items are prohibited inside the parade ground: Matches, lighters, inflammable substances, umbrellas, boards, musical instruments, firearms, firecrackers, knives, daggers, swords, scissors, blades, sharp cutting objects, dangerous objects, incendiaries. and distress signals, ball, wooden stick, hockey stick, promotional product material, loud hailer, radio, pet animal, gutka, tobacco, bidi, cigarette, liquor etc.
