15 people died within 7 days in accidents in Bastar
Bastar. In the last week of the year 2024, more than 5 horrific road accidents have taken place at different places in Bastar. In which a total of 15 people have died, while about 50 people are injured. A total of 11 deaths have occurred in the accident in Kolenge of Bastar and Bhanupratappur area of Kanker. 6 dead bodies were taken out simultaneously in Chandameta village of Kolenge. The last week of the year was full of accidents.
A total of 6 people died due to a truck overturning in Kolenge area of Bastar district. Of these, 4 died on the spot, while 2 people died the next day (22 December) during treatment. 38 people were injured in this accident. Aman Chaudhary (16), a resident of Jagdalpur, was going for a walk with his friend Yusuf Ansari (17) and about 6 to 7 other friends. Both Aman and Yusuf were riding a scooter. Their other friends were also going ahead on their two-wheelers. Meanwhile, a car hit them near Mavalibhata in Kodenar police station area. Both of them died.
Five college students died in a road accident in Bhanupratappur of Kanker district. Two girls were also among them. A speeding Scorpio vehicle hit two bikes. All the five students riding the bike died in the accident. A truck hit a bike in Jagdalpur. The accident was so severe that a young man died on the spot while another young man was injured. A person died after being hit by a truck near Kumharpara in Jagdalpur. The name of the deceased is Kapil Tande who was coming from Aadawal towards Jagdalpur. Meanwhile, the truck hit him. He was injured in the accident. After which he died during treatment in the hospital.
