The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, where she also died. After a lot of effort the villagers controlled the fire.
According to the information received, on Tuesday morning a sudden fire broke out due to unknown reasons in the residential shed of Triloki Putra Fort in Prithvipur, the revenue village of Gram Panchayat Rainiya. Murta Devi (72), wife of Keele, who was sleeping in the thatch, came to know about the fire when the fire had engulfed the entire thatch.
About 22 goats were tied in the house, while trying to untie them, the woman got badly burnt, due to which the villagers hurriedly took her to Banhara Kudraha Hospital, a community health center with the help of an ambulance. Seeing the seriousness of the condition, the doctors referred him to the district hospital, Basti. Where the elderly woman died during treatment. Out of the 22 goats kept in the house, 19 goats were scorched to death, while three goats were badly burnt.
