“1962-Mobile Veterinary Service” will prove to be ambitious in livestock protection

Jalore : Ahor MLA Chhagansingh Rajpurohit said that the “1962-Mobile Veterinary Service” run by the government will prove to be a boon for the conservation and promotion of livestock. Through this mobile veterinary service vehicle, immediate facility for treatment of livestock will be available to the livestock owners.
Ahor MLA said that the program of inauguration of 1962-mobile veterinary service vehicles at the state level by the Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma under the centrally sponsored scheme of the Central Government will prove to be important for the animal husbandry based business across the state. In his address, he asked the medical officers and personnel associated with animal husbandry to work with a spirit of service along with treating the animals with sensitivity.
District Collector Pooja Partha said in her address that this scheme will prove to be a big step in the field of treatment of animal husbandry and cattle. Under this scheme, by calling 1962, cattle owners will be able to get their animals treated through mobile veterinary service vehicles and will also be able to avail other facilities including vaccination and artificial insemination of animals.
He asked the departmental officers to prepare a route chart of mobile veterinary service vehicles and publicize it through media persons so that all the cattle rearers can get the benefits of this scheme.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Jagdish Vishnoi, Joint Director of Animal Husbandry Department, gave detailed information regarding the scheme through welcome address and program introduction.
Jalore Pradhan Narayan Singh Rajpurohit, Ahore Municipality Chairman Sujaram Prajapat and Zilla Parishad member Harish Ranawat were present as guests in the ceremony.
After the program, the guests flagged off the 1962 mobile veterinary vehicles with worship, ribbon cutting and inauguration. The vehicles reached their destination camp site via major roads of Jalore city. Veterinary work will be done at the camp site by doctors and personnel appointed in these mobile veterinary vehicles.
On this occasion, Additional District Collector Shiv Charan Meena, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry Department Dr. Poonmaram Vishnoi, Dr. Girdhar Singh Sodha, Dr. J.P. Sharma, Dr. Rajendra Rajbhiye, Dr. Jayant Tusure, Dr. Suresh Patel, Dr. Sanjay Gardener, Mahavir Singh and Laxman Gehlot along with departmental personnel, public representatives and cattle herders were present.
