2 accused arrested for kidnapping and assaulting a young man
Sirsa. Sirsa CIA police team has arrested two of the five accused with an illegal pistol and three live cartridges in the case of kidnapping, taking hostage and assaulting a youth resident of Ram Nagariya village due to mutual rivalry.
Both the arrested youths have been identified as Priyanshu son of Krishna Kumar, resident of village Shahpur Begu and Rohit alias Kaku son of Balwan Singh, resident of Sector-19 Flat Sirsa. Remand will be obtained by presenting both of them in the court.
It is noteworthy that on November 6, some youth had kidnapped Ravi, a resident of Ram Nagariya village, taken him to Thehar locality and held him hostage, beat him up and tried to spread terror by making a video viral on social media.
DCP Ajaib Singh said that during interrogation, the arrested youths also confessed to carrying out two other incidents of robbery in Sirsa area of the city. He told that the arrested youth are being interrogated. The matter is being said to be of mutual rivalry. At the same time, the possibility of revelations about other criminal incidents during interrogation cannot be ruled out.
