2 accused of stealing lakhs arrested
Police arrested 2 accused of theft. Stolen articles were recovered from the possession of the accused. According to the police, Mahesh Nareti resident Bokrabeda came to Dhanora police station on 26 January 23 and lodged a report of Tullu pump theft that his farm is adjacent to the banks of the Barda river. Summer crop paddy was planted in the field. For whose irrigation Tullu was irrigating with the water of Barda river with pump machine. On the intervening night of January 17, Tullu pump machine was stolen by an unknown thief, whose address was searched around, but on the report of the applicant, Section 379 Bhadvi was registered in Dhanora police station and taken into consideration. Information was received from the informer that the accused Dinesh Netam (30 years), Chaniyagaon Uparpara, Police Station Dhanora and Naresh Netam (20), Chhotthemli Schoolpara Police Station, Farsgaon Hall Residence, Chaniyagaon Police Station Dhanora, have stolen and kept the Tullu pump hidden in the house. The said stolen Tullu pump was recovered after raiding the spot on information and the accused were arrested on April 13 and sent to judicial remand.
