2 goats died due to electrocution, shepherds also injured

Gariaband. Two shepherds got badly burnt due to electrocution in Kadlimuda area of Devbhog power center of the district. At the same time, two goats grazing on fodder died on the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the team of Revenue and Electricity Department reached the spot and started further action.

According to the information received, the shepherd was cutting the trunks of a raw tree to arrange fodder for the goats. During this, Dangal got stuck on the 33 KV line wire. The goat lost his life while trying to pluck a leaf from the trapped dangle.

Cowherd Lekhan Bhoi and Leelabar, unaware of the current, also got burnt badly while trying to remove the current. Both have been admitted to Devbhog Hospital, where both are undergoing treatment.
