2 killed in Pick up van-Bike head-on collision in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district

Kamakhyanagar: In a tragic incident, as many as two persons were killed on the spot after a pick up van and a bike collided head-on in Dhenkanal district of Odisha on Monday. The accident took place near Tileibereni on the Kamakhyanagar-Kankadahad PWD road under Kamakhyanagar Police Station limits.

The identity of the deceased persons is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, a few businessmen were returning from the Dandadhar dam side to Kamakhyanagar in a pickup van after completing their marketing.

Near Tileibereni turning the bike rider lost control on the steering and hit the pickup van head on. Accordingly, the two people who were travelling on the bike were killed on the spot. And the pickup van skidded off the road.

After getting information Kankadahada Police reached the spot and seized the bike, the pickup van and the two bodied. The bodies were then sent for autopsy. Further investigation of the case is underway.
