Hyderabad: Two workers were killed and three others injured in an accident at a construction site in Hyderabad on Thursday. Scaffolding erected for the construction of a multi-storey building collapsed at Adagutta under KPHB police station limits.
The workers fell down from the sixth floor. Two of them died on the spot. They were identified as Santosh Patnaik and Sonia Patnaik, both natives of Odisha. Three others were injured and taken to hospital. His condition is said to be serious. The builder was allegedly constructing the building in violation of norms. The police have registered a case against the owner and started investigation.
