2 rewarded female Naxalite arrested
Bijapur. The joint party of Kutru and Farsegarh police stations has succeeded in arresting two female Naxalites including an LGS member carrying a reward of Rs one lakh. The captured woman Naxalite was involved in the incident of murder, assault and attack on the police party. According to the information received from the police, a woman Naxalite Poyami Sunny alias Ranjita (34), resident of Chuchkonta, Farsegarh, was arrested by the joint party of Farsegarh and Kutru police station on Wednesday as part of an anti-Naxal operation.
The captured woman Naxalite was involved in the incident of killing a villager, assault and attacking the police party. A reward of Rs 10,000 has been announced by Superintendent of Police Bijapur for the arrest of the said woman. There are 5 permanent warrants pending against him in Farsegarh police station. On the other hand, Farsegarh LGS member Poyam Fagni (30), resident of Ketulnar police station Kutru, was arrested from Ketulnar. A reward of Rs 1 lakh has been declared against the captured Naxalite under the surrender and rehabilitation policy of Chhattisgarh government. The captured female Naxalite was involved in the incident of firing on the police party in Edappally forest on 10 September 2015. There is a permanent warrant pending against him in Farsegarh police station. After legal proceedings against the captured female Naxalites in Kutru and Farsegarh police stations, they have been produced before the Bijapur court.
