20-20 years rigorous imprisonment to two convicts in hashish smuggling case
Mandi. The special court of Additional Sessions Judge in District Mandi has sentenced two convicts to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 4 lakh each in the case of hashish smuggling. If the accused do not pay the fine under any circumstances, they will have to undergo additional simple imprisonment for two years each. The culprits have been identified as Sunil Kumar son of Bansi Lal resident of Mehd (Tandu) tehsil Sadar and Khub Ram son of Yog Raj resident of (Ghraan) Bihan Dhar. The matter is of 10 January 2021. Meanwhile, he saw a car coming at high speed. After recording the statements of 23 witnesses in the court, both the accused were convicted and sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 4 lakh each. It has been said in the court that if the accused do not pay the fine under any circumstances, they will have to face additional simple imprisonment of two years each.
