22 seats will be reserved for women in Himachal

Mandi. The Modi government at the Center has worked towards giving them their rights by respecting mother power. Today women have got 33 percent reservation in Lok Sabha and Assembly. Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said this as the chief guest in the conference organized by BJP Mandi District Mahila Morcha. Jairam Thakur said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the Women’s Reservation Bill was passed first in the Lok Sabha and then in the Rajya Sabha. Now in the future, whenever the census process of the country is completed, this 33 percent women reservation will be implemented in every election. If women’s reservation is implemented, 22 out of 68 seats in the Himachal Assembly will be for women, whereas at present the only MLA from our party is Reena Kashyap.

In Mandi also, 3 out of 10 seats will be reserved for women. In such a situation, you mother power has to understand how important the role of women is becoming. She called upon the women workers to gear up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and take a pledge that we will make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister again. On this occasion, State General Secretary of Mahila Morcha Manchali Thakur gave information about the current and upcoming programs of Mahila Morcha. Jairam Thakur, while reacting to the statement given by film actress Kangana Ranaut, who belongs to Mandi district, about contesting the Lok Sabha elections, said that only the one who is willing to contest the elections gives such a statement. Anyway, everyone has the right to express their desire to contest elections, but the party high command decides who will be given a ticket, who will not and who will be fielded from where. It all depends on the top leadership of the party as to whom to give ticket to and from where. No one has the right to comment on this.
