25 people without ILP arrested

25 people without ILP arrested Twenty-seven people were arrested by the police without valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) at various check gates in Lower Siang district on Sunday. All the arrested persons, most of whom were laborers from Assam, West Bengal and Bihar, were produced before the Executive Magistrate. Later, he was released after paying a fine and a bond. The district administration has directed the police to keep a strict vigil on the movement of people coming from outside the state. It appealed to the people, especially the contractors, to obtain valid ILP for their laborers before employing them for any work.
