25 thousand fine imposed on forest officers, information not given under RTI
Manendragarh. Making fun of RTE became heavy for the officers of the Forest Department. Actually, RTI activist Ashok Srivastava of Manendragarh had imposed RTI. Forest officials have been fined for not giving information. According to the information received, Manendragarh’s RTI activist Ashok Srivastava had sought information from the Forest Department officials regarding the work and payment of the Campa item.
On not getting a reply, he reported the matter to State Information Commissioner Dhanvendra Jaiswal. After this, while taking action, he imposed a fine of Rs. Since this action, there has been a stir among the officers ignoring the Right to Information Act. At the same time, the State Information Commissioner has directed to give information within 30 days.
