26 year old youth died due to dengue in district Sirmaur

Nahan. The cases of dengue and scrub typhus have been increasing continuously in the last few days in Sirmaur district. The situation has now become such that a case of death of one person due to dengue has come to light. According to the information, 26-year-old Rahul, resident of Puruwala, Paonta Sahib, was brought to Nahan Medical College in an ill condition on the night of October 10, where investigation revealed that Rahul was suffering from dengue and his platelets had reached around 51 thousand.

Rahul was treated in emergency condition by the doctors of the medical college but despite all efforts, Rahul could not recover. Yesterday on October 11, Rahul died around 5:00 am. Let us tell you that this is the first case of death due to dengue in district Sirmaur. Let us tell you that not only dengue but also viral fever is spreading rapidly in Sirmaur.

Viral fever patients are also continuously coming to the hospitals and health centers of the district. The Chief Medical Officer of District Sirmaur is also on leave. The situation of dengue, scrub typhus, viral fever etc. in the district has become explosive. All these diseases are being investigated in the Medical College, Nahan.

But the platelet checking machine has been out of order since last one week. Due to which people are facing a lot of problems and have to turn to private labs to get platelets checked.
