268 warrantees arrested during combing patrol

Durg: The police have started taking strict action against the increasing incidents of theft and robbery in the district. Durg Police has started the work of monitoring the miscreants to curb criminal incidents, under which the police has launched a special campaign. In which action is being taken against the monitored criminals. Under the campaign, 268 monitored permanent warranty criminals have been arrested in the last 24 hours. These criminals were absconding after committing crimes for a long time. After arresting the accused, the police has also warned them.

The police has also conducted an identification parade of the criminals under surveillance so that the residents of the area remember the faces of the criminals. This will also help in police investigation and patrolling team in getting information about the criminal in case of crime in future. On this matter, Additional SP Sanjay Dhruv said, “Such action will continue in future also.” So that whatever necessary steps will be taken to establish peace in the district. There will be no retreat for that.

Under the police campaign, in 24 hours, in-charges of 17 police stations, three CSPs, ASP and more than 150 personnel of Hello Team participated. During this time, the absconding warranty goons were arrested. After the arrest of surveillance goons, all of them will be presented in the court for execution of warranty.
