3 arrested in serial temple thefts in Odisha’s Ganjam district
Rambha: As many as three miscreants have been arrested in the serial temple thefts in Ganjam district of Odisha on Saturday. The incident took place under Rambha Police Station limits.
The arrested accused persons have been identified as B. Raju Pradhan of Rambha police station limits, S. Babula of Kukudakhandi village under Berhampur Sadar police station limits and A. Ramachandra of Godibandh village in Malad area.
As per reports, these accused persons had stolen jewelries, properties etc. from a number of temples.
Police have seized 5 iron rods, a hammer, Rs 1250 in cash and other items from the arrested accused persons.
During the police investigation, it was found that these accused had stolen from 7 temples and a few grocery shops.
