3 dead, 1 serious after being hit by truck

Redhakhol: A tragic incident unfolded at Bargapalli area in Angul district, claiming the lives of at least three individuals, while one remains critically injured after being struck by a speeding truck on Thursday.

Reports indicate that all four victims were passengers aboard a bus named Prachi, en route from Sundergarh to Bhubaneswar. The bus encountered a flat tire near the Bargapalli area, prompting the passengers to disembark. While standing beside the road, a speeding truck collided with four of the passengers, resulting in the fatalities of three individuals, while one sustained severe injuries.

Sources reveal that two of the victims succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Rairakhol hospital, while the third victim was pronounced dead at Kishornagar hospital.
