3 people of the same family strangled to death, panic in the area

Chandigarh: In a village in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district, a tragic incident emerged as three family members were allegedly strangled to death within their residence. The incident was discovered on Wednesday, and the victims have been identified as Iqbal Singh (55), his wife Lakhwinder Kaur (53), and his sister-in-law Sita Kaur (60).

As of now, the motive behind the murders remains unknown. The family’s longtime domestic help, who had been in their service for two decades, reported that the perpetrators had abducted her, subjected her to a beating, and subsequently cast her into the Sutlej River. Remarkably, she managed to survive the ordeal and return home, where she is currently receiving medical care.
