3 vehicles seized for illegal transportation of limestone and sand

Jagdalpur. Collector Vijay Dayaram K. On the instructions of the Department of Minerals, 03 vehicles carrying illegal transportation of limestone and sand were seized. Haresh Mandavi, Officer-in-Charge of the Mineral Branch said that continuous action is being taken against the people involved in illegal transportation and mining of minerals.

In this episode, on Wednesday, May 31, 03 vehicles were caught illegally transporting limestone and sand from Kangoli and Chhaparbhanpuri while carrying out illegal excavation in Chhotepul under Bastar district. Of these, two tractor trolleys of sand and a tipper of limestone have been caught while transporting illegally. All these vehicles have been handed over to police custody.
