30 kg silver and Rs 21 lakh seized from Ertiga car, youth from Raipur arrested

Bilaspur. On the instructions of the Election Commission, intensive checking of vehicles is going on in all the districts. Police is getting success in checking. In this episode, Civil Lines has recovered silver jewelery and huge amount of cash from the Ertiga vehicle.

In this case, the police station in-charge said that 30 kg silver and Rs 21 lakh have been seized from the person who was illegally transporting silver anklets. During interrogation, the accused revealed his name as Mohit Patel, who is a resident of Kamal Vihar, Raipur. The seized jewelery included 496 silver anklets and 71 silver girdle sets.
