346.1 mm average rainfall so far in Mahasamund district

Mahasamund. The district has recorded an average rainfall of 346.1 mm since June 01, 2023, during the current monsoon. According to the information received from the land records, the maximum rainfall in the district was 501.7 mm in Mahasamund development block, 340.2 mm in Saraipali, 346.5 mm in Pithora, 291.5 mm in Bagbahra development block and the lowest rainfall was 250.8 mm in Basna block.

Today, on July 17, an average rainfall of 40.9 mm was recorded. In Tehsil-wise rainfall of the district, maximum rainfall of 86.2 mm was recorded in Mahasamund tehsil today. 32.2 mm in Basna tehsil, 19.1 mm in Bagbahra tehsil, 45.6 mm in Pithora tehsil and 21.8 mm in Saraipali tehsil.
