4 killed, 3 critical in series of accidents in Mayurbhanj
Mayurbhanj: In a series of accidents, four people died and three are critically injured as a truck driver ran over one person and rammed into an auto rickshaw on the National Highway 220 under Tiring police station limits in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday.
According to reports, an iron-laden truck rammed into two persons who were doing morning walk. One of them died and another is injured. After going a little further, the truck driver rammed into an auto rickshaw. The two passengers in the auto rickshaw and the auto rickshaw driver died on the spot.
The couple was returning to their home in the auto rickshaw after having a bus journey from Cuttack. More information awaited. A pall of gloom prevailed in the area after the series of accidents by the iron-laden truck.
